Using oil pastels, I created a pumpkin and its shadow–a simple and early demonstration of my artistic talent since I was only in third grade when I made this.
In fourth grade, I learned stippling, a technique that uses different concentrations of dots for various shades of color. A higher concentration results in a darker area, and the lower the concentration, the lighter. This piece represents the iconic rivalry between snakes and mongooses.
Further exploring stippling techniques, I stipple-painted a dragon perched upon a cliff. Upon close inspection, it’s easy to notice the imperfections and little brush strokes, however looking at the picture as a whole, everything blends together to form the picture.
In fifth grade, I created a self-portrait of who I imagined I would be in a futuristic, dystopian world. My armor consists of a combination of both realistic military features and those of superheroes that I liked. Additionally, there are multiple doodles done in the background representing times when I got distracted and started messing around. Overall, this piece encompasses a lot of the personality and niche interests that I had at that age, and was fully done in Copic Markets.
Iron Man is one of my favorite superheroes, and I wanted to draw a version of him straight out of the comics, where he had some of the best suit designs. To further imply that this was an older version of Iron Man, I used a low-resolution canvas to show each individual pixel, giving him a retro look. This was done on Microsoft Paint.
I created this piece during the lockdown. I was a huge fan of the game Fortnite and made a drawing of the skin I used to use in-game. Impressively, this drawing was created on Microsoft Paint and required a lot of technical skill and care since the software is not modern.
My best and final creation on Microsoft Paint was a version of Spider-Man that I created based on an internet image. I was heavily inspired by Andrew Garfield’s portrayal of the character and wanted to draw his reflective suit.
Upon watching Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the Scarlet Spider immediately caught my eye because he had one of the most well-designed Spider-Suits. I watched this movie an additional two times before creating this drawing, based on the first issue comic cover of the Scarlet Spider. This was done on paper with a combination of colored pencil and Copic Markers.
Upon first getting Adobe Photoshop, I was thinking about interesting things to draw when I came up with the idea of a mix between the shark and the crocodile. My first ever photoshop drawing was a concept of this animal against a blue ocean background.
Upon doing some research about graphic design and mockups, I took it on myself to create a concept of a brand that encompassed some of my art and design skill. This graphic shows the brand guidelines of an imaginary instant noodle company called Bite.
Narika organization that helps women who have been in abusive relationships. Every year, they host an annual banquet to raise money, where my artwork was featured in order to create awareness and draw people to the event. It depicts a bubble in the middle of a hellscape representing Narika’s place in helping people who have suffered with domestic violence. This piece was created on photoshop.
This piece created on photoshop, was a design made for my robotics team, “System Overload Robotics.” It was printed on pieces of merchandise and given away at competitions during the 2024 season where every single item with this design was given away, showing its popularity among the public.
This digital piece done on Photoshop was my submission for the 2024 Google Doodle contest, “My Wish for the Next 25 Years.” It represents a change from nonrenewable energy sources to a cleaner world embedded into the classic google logo.
Inspired by Maus by Art Spiegelman, I created a colored and more realistic version of some of the officeres depicted in the book. This was done on adobe photoshop.
This piece was initially only supposed to be Robin, however, he looked bland by himself, so I decided to add Nightwing and Batman on each side of him. A specific design choice used here was to make each character more and more detailed as per their strength level. This was done on Photoshop.
Done inbetween passing periods, this was a concept of drake as Batman. His suit is edited with a unique color scheme and branding that resembles that of Drake, however I chose to discontinue this idea.
A rought Draft from 5th grade, a sketch of an alligator with a done with pencil that I never got to complete.
